History of KTK MOULDTEC

2006

Company foundation KTK Mouldtec

Founding of KTK MouldtecThe history of KTK Mouldtec begins in 2006, when our founder and current Managing Director, Georg Kneißl, joined a company in Saxony as a project manager. He later became managing director of this company and at the same time founded his own sole proprietorship "KTK Qualität und Dienstleistung in Kunststoff", the predecessor of today's company. On December 1, 2009, he then founded KTK MOULDTEC together with a partner. The first major order came from Audi, who ordered 21 tools for the production of the A7. This was the starting signal for the company, which has since developed into a leading supplier of injection molds.

2006

2014

Move to Eslarn

2014 the company returned to Eslarn, Georg Kneißl's home town. The company moved into new offices there and restructured its business model. Since then, the focus has been on tool procurement from China. The management flew to China more than ten times a year to find the best partners and personally supervise production on site, with the aim of ensuring our high western quality level. This philosophy is still an integral part of KTK Mouldtec today.

2019

Neue KTK Halle mit Büroräumen

In 2019 Georg Kneißl took over the entire business shares from his partner and invested in a new hall with office space and the possibility of final testing and finishing of the delivered injection molds at the home location. The ground-breaking ceremony took place in August 2019 and in March 2020 the new company headquarters in the Zankeltrad industrial estate was completed, which still represents an important milestone for the company today.

2023

Expansion at the Eslarn site

The management recently responded to the issue of sustainability and rising manufacturing costs and is now also offering services such as maintenance, servicing and modifications. For this purpose 2023 a second hall with an area of 1,000 square meters.
